What is MJD Centre and what do we aim to do?

Majed Centre is East to west -style Study Centre registered company in Syria as well as in England.

 ‘We aim to raise standards, promote excellence and widen participation in further education for Syria nationals and promote for the highest standards of interpretation and translation services in Syria.’

We aim to make further education in our associated Schools and Colleges more effective by:

• providing a united voice for further education in Syria

• improving the quality, effectiveness and value for money of the services we provide

• working together to improve student achievement

• ensuring that all sections of our community have access to learning and opportunities to succeed and progress to higher levels of study.

Majed Company offers many different types of support service, whoever and whatever needs required by the students. As we deal with many educational and business networks supplying high quality services and educational establishments accredited by the British Council

Majed Centre offers the following services to students.

1- Learner Services

We want to offer you support to ensure you make the most of your learning experiences at the College. We recognise that every student needs individual support, so we have an experienced team of staff who can provide an extensive range of services to ensure that you succeed and enjoy your time at the College.

Application Process:

- Papers and payments are required to be submitted by the applicants:

- Copies of :(Passports, Certificates earned, all other qualifications obtained)

 - Fill up the Housing, accommodation and the school application forms

- payment of the Accommodation and the school admission fees around £ 200

2- Accommodation

Our experienced Accommodation agencies can offer you advice and guidance on a range of subjects -  accommodation. We keep a register of student accommodation which includes lodgings (£65-95), flats (£190-315), bedsits(£80-100), shared houses(£100-150) and halls of residence(£125-160) - lower living expenses are an advantage to the city’s student population.

3- Travel and Tickets

If you want to save money on airplane tickets and airport pick up service Majed centre is ready to help you with your transport costs, as it is supported by the Canadian STA, the International Student Travel Agency which can reduce your travel costs up to 35% off.

Foundation Degrees

Equivalent to the first 2 years of a full-time Honours Degree they focus on promoting work based learning skills plus academic knowledge to allow progression to an Honours Degree.

Higher National Certificates/Diplomas (HNC/HNDs)

Vocationally based Higher Education qualifications that provide skills and career based knowledge.

National Vocational Qualification (NVQ - Levels 1-4)

Work-related qualifications, designed to further your skills in a specific career. NVQs assess your ability to perform a variety of tasks in the workplace.

GCSEs in Vocational subjects

Equivalent to 2 traditional GCSE qualifications within our partner Kingston college in London.

AS/A Levels

Traditional qualifications. One year AS courses (level 3 qualifications in their own right) can prepare you for the level of study required for a further year to gain full A Levels.

Entry Level Programmes:

Ideal for a fresh start – opportunity to get ready for work or into learning. You will get a lot of support and assistance, for adults returning to study or for young people who may not achieve traditional qualifications and are not quite ready to tackle Level 1 qualifications. These programmes allow you to move onto Level 1 courses, to brush up on your study skills and to increase your confidence.
